My pillows are in a book!
OMG! My fun little pillows made it in the Design Cookbook! So thrilled to be a part of it (It's an interior design book not a food cookbook...I know I was all confused with the title and cover photo). Not only because the pillows are making their debut in the book world, but also, I took the photograph, which is potentially even more exciting! Of course, it all comes together because of this beautiful vignette in my friend Julie Lloyd's spectacular home! The colorful artwork, the matching candles and plant holders and that fabulous wall really just make it all come together. Julie is a fabulous interior designer with such great taste. She doesn't have a website yet, but when she does I will be showcasing her and her work because I have no doubt it will leave everyone drooling. I haven't really gone through the book yet. This will be my weekend reading and browsing (alongside my newly acquired Domino mag!). Go get the book here. And get my pillows here or here.
ORC Updates || This was the One Room Challenge (ORC) second week and I have to say I am very impressed by what some of these talented ladies have been putting together (or taking apart). First, I'm in awe of Elizabeth's hardwork. She gets an A+ for progress. Seriously, we are talking about hard labor. The room looks so good already. I know I will love this one. You need to see Heather's chandelier (and bookmark the etsy store...its a keeper!) and wall color. I'm excited to see Charmaine's DIYs coming up and I love the colorful fabric she will be using. Can't get enough of Jennifer's fabric choices as well. I think this room will be any teenager's dream. And if you love Gracie and de Gournay wallpaper you need to visit Andrea where she shares a more affordable and very similar option.
What else? I will be working on a fun DIY this weekend (let's hope it works!), and if it does I will be sharing it with you soon. I have the feeling next week will be an exciting week.
Kisses, kisses!! I hope you have fun plans. We have a fundraiser tonight which I have been looking forward to. Maybe I can score some good art at the silent auction! I will keep you posted. Follow me on Instagram here (I might even show you what I wear!!).
