A Feast for the Eyes and Mouths || A Few Restaurants I want to visit

Aren't these images spectacular? It's restaurant decor at its finest.  I can't stop thinking about this great article I read on the WSJ about the world's most beautiful restaurants.  Nothing like haute cuisine consumed in an equally haute designed space.  Let's start with the Restaurant n° 7 in Fez, Morocco.  Forget about the food which I'm sure is out of this world, I just want to move in! The tiles and stones are spectacular.

This next restaurant is in Paris (of course!) and it's the very famous le Meurice, an Alain Ducasse restaurant. The decor is sumptuously romantic and very french with its crystal chandeliers, frescoes, antiqued mirrors and all that marble.  Now I need to find a reason to return to Paris stat.

The Jane restaurant in Antwerp, Belgium is another jaw-dropper.  It is housed in what used to be the chapel of a military hospital.  What is most stunning here is the sputnik-like chandelier that spans almost the entire restaurant.  This sculptural lighting piece was designed by .PSLAB a design house that is invested in the production of sensory experiences.  With all the chapel's stained glass windows and high vaulted ceiling this ethereal light sculpture could not be more perfect. Add the Michelin star food and you have a sensory experience for sure.

If you want to review the other restaurants listed you can read the article here. If you love good food and design I highly recommend reading it.  After hibernating for the last two weeks it sure awakened my wanderlust.  Have you been to any of these?
