On My Mind || Vibrant Prints and Color

It's been hot here in Dallas. We went from cold and rainy straight to hot. All of a sudden it feels like summer and we haven't even started April. With the warmer days always comes the longing for color and vibrant prints which is exactly what I have on my mind today. The pink dresser could not be any cooler. I could design a whole room around it. It comes in blue as well. These pretty and colorful napkins are $22 for a set of four. This sounds ideal to me. Now let's talk pineapples.
Remember my kid art DIY where we turned my daughter's pineapple painting into a dress for grandma? Well, I had terrible jealousy issues after that (the terrible green-eyed monster veers its ugly head) as I wished I had printed more fabric to make another dress for myself. Well, this cute pineapple skirt could almost make me feel better. It is so festive and happy. The oversized round shape sunglasses by Kaibosh with cat-eye corners are so chic and feminine. In my opinion, cat-eye + tortoise shell equals a flattering combination. I am a huge fan of this Alexander McQueen clutch style. I have blogged about it before with other prints and this pretty pink and orange one is just as good. Bright and exciting- just how I like my things.
I think this pool photograph deserves it's own paragraph, don't you? The glamorous lifestyle, the colors, the relaxed energy it communicates- my home could use this beautiful print STAT. The pink sofa is so sweet and the rug and wooden stools are on super sale!! take advantage! The rug seems so cozy....I just want to cuddle in it.
One more day 'till Friday! We can do it. We have good friends coming for the weekend so we are ready to play tourist.
