One Room Challenge Standouts

Last week was the famous 'Reveal' week for the One Room Challenge so it was an exciting week in blogland.  You may remember I was part of this challenge here and here and I was a linker this time around.  Linda, who started it all has grown this challenge and it just keeps getting better and better. There were some great transformations and I wanted to share with you my favorites.  These projects are also great ways to find new sources for furniture, accents, art.....plus you learn so much by way of tips and DIYs. First up- this fabulous black and white bathroom by Vanessa Francis.  I just love the sconces from School House Electric and that wallpaper.  Of course the black faucet is pretty cool too. To see more photos of this fab bathroom and read all the details visit Vanessa Francis here.  Next up this cute girl's room by 6th Street Design School.

Aren't you in love with that cockatoo!!  Large format prints really pack a punch. And this one is from Minted! Surprising right? I love the bold and bright colors against those soft blue walls. For more details read on here.

Savvy Home's transformation is amazing.  I love her nautical art theme and her beautiful furniture choices. Don't you love her copper bar stools?  Now those are something to write home about!

This pretty bedroom by Cassie from Hi! Sugarplum has so many great elements.  I love the malachite and the leopard mixed in.

Jill Sorensen's kitchen remodel is spectacular! Those pendants and bar stools!!  I die! She hasn't put in sources yet, maybe this week?

Since I'm kind obsessed with purple lately it's no surprise that I loved this 11-year old girl's room by Stephanie Krauss Designs. The headboard and draperies are beautiful.  See more here.

Waiting on Martha never disappoints.  I love that we both had a similar vision with our snake print tables. I have always loved that Paul Marrot print and those stools.  You need to see the rest of this room here. I guarantee you will love it- it's bright and happy.

The English Room's dining room that converts to a ping-pong table room?!!  It's all about that orange table made with formica- perfect for ping-pong matches or fancy dinner parties. Pretty cool and original right?

Jana Bek's dining area is so chic. Dying over the peony custom centerpiece (made by NDI)  You all know how I love a good faux floral which is perfect for the last minute dinner party.  That chandy is pretty cool too.

Simple Details room makeover has amazing Craig List finds and Ikea hacks. She even added nailheads to the ceiling!  So creative.  See the details here.

Swoon Worthy office's reveal is very glamorous indeed! If you love pink, gold and black you will love this one.

If you enjoyed this mini-tour you will really enjoy going through each project here over at Calling It Home.
