Bar None
Once school starts we resume regular activities like hosting small parties and gatherings which we tend to put off during the summer as we are off seeing family and traveling. This, of course, means paying close attention to our bar area and prepping it for the more social months ahead. This inspiration photo caught my eye with its fabulous portrait collection, leaning art and beautiful bronze bar cart. I have broken it down so you too can achieve a similar look.
1 || Collection of Portraits. These portraits is what makes this vignette so attractive and different to me. It gives the scene a collected-through time feel. I thought this one, this one and this one look great together. But there are so many more to chose from!
2 || Brass Animals. Not everyone can afford a large scale brass greyhound, but some cute deer bookends (and they are only $41!) can easily do the trick.
3 || Ceramic Figurines. These add some playfulness to the scene. I love this lovely chinoserie pair.
4 || Brass Bar Cart. This cart is an elegant and chic option. It has such a classic silhouette.
5 || Ice Bucket. A cool ice bucket is a must and this copper ice bucket is stunning and nicely priced too at $42!
6 || Framed Art. I love leaning framed art pieces against the wall. It gives the space a carefree vibe, yet finishes the look somehow. And this "Yo! We're Open" photograph is perfect for the bar area.
7 || A Collection of Glasses. To feed all tastes! Wine glasses ($48 for a set of 4!) , shot glasses ($34 for a set of 6!) scotch glasses ($29 for a set of 4!)....I love all of these options that easily coordinate with each other.
Make your bar area the chicest one. Bar none! How are you prepping your bar area lately?
