Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration
As you begin to plan your Thanksgiving Day menus and envision what direction you want to take your tablescape in, I want to provide you with some really beautiful tablescape inspiration that will get you excited. So excited that you will even want to break out your super fine china (which means hand washing after of course!) and even start polishing your silver. My sweet virtual friend Vel from Life and Home at 2102 introduced me to Casa de Perrin through her instagram. Pretty tables, fabulous centerpieces and jaw-dropping plates? Yes, please!
Casa de Perrin is an LA based luxury tabletop shop and rental company for anything and everything tabletop related. They have a highly edited inventory of vintage china, flatware and glassware. Their aesthetic is timeless and original. Wait 'till you see their combinations and what we can learn from their settings-
Use mini pumpkins as a centerpiece. Spray-paint some of them and leave others natural to get an interesting focal point. Herbs are always welcome with their divine aromas and they add that pretty and inexpensive green touch.
Forget vases! Just chop some greenery from your yard and lay it out on the table. Add in some flowers for color. Also, mix and match your dinnerware....modern and classic pieces give life to your table.
Add colorful dips, cheeses, veggies and fruits to the middle so guests can nibble before dinner and between courses. You were going to serve this stuff anyway and this way it doubles as a yummy centerpiece and you don't have to actually buy flowers.
Those raffia chargers you always use in the summer for your barbeques work well during the fall season if accessorized correctly. This woodsy table has the coziest feel.
A ton of small arrangements with inexpensive super market flowers can surprise you! Add tons of votives for a more festive setting.
Contrasting colors make any table standout. Love the black and white framed by these jewel tones florals.
#BlueAndWhiteForever! Papier-mache your pumpkins to match your plates for an original look. Thank you so much Casa de Perrin for such lovely inspiration. Your tables are really a feast for the eyes.
I hope to work on gift guides next week so stay tuned. Also, if you are subscribed to my emails where you get my new posts directly to your inbox, make sure you click through and read the post on the blog (by clicking on the pink title at the top of the email!). Sometimes the links don't all show up in the emails. For example, in yesterday's Festive Attire Post (where I share clothing picks for the upcoming festivities) the links to the curated clothing pieces did not come out in the email (I wish I could change this...but it is not in my hands). So, please click-thru for a better viewing of the post on the actual blog by clicking on the pink post title at the top of the email. Thank you! I hope this was helpful and I apologize to those who had trouble with this morning's post.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Safe travels to all.
