I Heart Houston

We are almost at the long weekend. And boy did it come at the exact right time! Today I'm sharing a few ways you can help all our Houston friends in need.  By buying this cool (and very comfortable!) Plus, you end up with this adorable and super soft tee, which you will no doubt wear constantly. I especially loved learning all about the designer behind this philanthropic tee- Heather Bloem and her business. She is a Dallas-based calligrapher and illustrator who was originally a landscape architect but now owns her custom invitation and graphic design company. I sure wish I was having a party to have Heather do my envelopes- there is nothing that I love more than beautifully addressed invitations. And Heather also does calligraphy workshops!  Visit her shop here where she sells custom made return address stamps, notepads and other cool gifts.

I also wanted to share with you the work of Matt Crump, a photographer that describes himself as 50% unicorn, 100% man (and you will understand why when you see his photographs).  I found Matt thru Instagram and just loved his minimalist compositions and his candy colored aesthetic.  He took some great photos of Houston honoring the city- see below-

We all have to be so thankful everyday for our health and that of our loved ones, our loving families, a roof over our heads and food on the table. We are blessed.  Everything else is icing on the cake.
