Holiday Tablescape Inspiration
As you get ready to gather friends and family around the table for the holidays I wanted to share some pretty and easy Holiday table decor ideas. A pretty table somehow always makes the meal seem even more delicious and the evening seem all the more joyful.
So many beautiful things at play in the photo above. Aside from the stunning dining room, I love the black and white table cloth with contrasting tapered red candles and red bows to tie the napkins. To get a similar look I found this toile black and white tablecloth and these candles. Add some red ribbon and florals as centerpieces and voila! If you prefer placemats these maintain the look.
Another easy centerpiece is colorful fruit. Combine some pretty tangerines, pomegranate and rosemary for a festive look.
You can’t go wrong with simple white plates combined with- gold flatware (these are my favorite), golden tea lights, greenery and gold tree ornaments.
The photo below is all about the tiny tree and some contrasting napkins. Also, some pretty ribbon goes a long way. A few similar styled napkins: more modern ones, french check, relaxed and casual stripes, another striped set. Or if you prefer the more traditional red these are so cute!
This one is all about the sparkle!! Add some golden deer in the center, some pretty gold chargers (I like these and these), some napkins with a little bit of gold (these star ones are a favorite, these have a pretty and more subtle sparkle, and these are ideal). And of course some glasses with gold- this set is pretty and this one too! Decisions, decisions.
White tapered candles and greenery is simple and perfect. I love these candle holders and these ones. Make sure the candles are all at different heights to add some interest.
You can even create a nice table with plastic placemats. These are from Ikea (similar here) and these ones are perfect too. Just by adding crackers you are half way there. They are so decorative. Plus everyone has more fun with a paper crown on their head.
It can be easy and fun to decorate a pretty table. What I’m totally obsessed lately are these glasses!! I don’t think you need much else.
How do you like to set your tables for these big gatherings? What tricks do you have up your sleeve? Please share!
