Coffee Table Books are Always a Good Idea

A wandering eye, inside Tangier, More Decorating, Near and Far, Beige is not a color, coffee table books

Life has been busy! But I will get some posts out in the next few weeks to help with all your gift giving needs. I know you guys appreciate my gift guides, so I will work on those. While I find some great gift ideas I wanted to share with you these marvelous design books I have enjoyed reading and looking through these last few months. These interior design coffee table books are such a great source of inspiration they would make great a gift for that special friend, hostess, or even yourself (of course!)!

Miguel Flores-Vianna, one of the most well-known contemporary interiors photographer brings us A Wandering Eye, a collection of the places he loves best. Only using his smart phone, he captures amazing rooms and scenes that will capture your imagination. Inside Tangiers showcases a collection of exceptional properties in this dreamy city. The homes like their inhabitants are unconventional, bohemian, maybe even extravagant but always very stylish. Tom Scheerer’s More Decorating is pure magic, just like his spaces. See homes in New York, Paris, Maine and Antigua among others in this book that is more master class than anything else. This is a great book to learn from. Textile designer, Lisa Fine’s Near and Far is another exceptional book you will love gifting or keeping for yourself. If you love mixing colors, patterns and textures you will love this book as she presents us with homes and places that either she has decorated or that have inspired her and her designs. And lastly, Carlos Mota’s Beige is not a color is really a treasure. I reviewed it in a previous post here.
