A FEW THINGS || Chinoiserie and More

Happy end of summer!!! I can’t believe these summer months flew by and now we are all in back-to-school mode. Summer is wonderful, but I have to admit Fall is my most favorite season of all. I love the cooler days, the colors, the scents, the layering, even the darker days. But I’m not quite ready for pumpkin styling yet. Let’s enjoy these last days of warmer weather while we can. I got quite a few questions about our trip to Greece, so I will soon share with you our itinerary and I hope to also bring some must-have fall fashion ideas in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, here are a few things I have been kind of obsessed with lately that I would love to share with you.

ONE // Chinoiserie Accessories for you and your Home. Monica, the talented lady behind the must-read blog Monica Wants It, has just opened her HOME SHOP. She designed an entire line of Chinoiserie accessories for the home and for you. She has beautiful and feminine pieces that will brighten up your home like these pillows that are reversible (two for one!) with navy on one side and blush on the other. I also love this pillow design that is so feminine and punchy. I got some hand towels for myself that I adore! They are so soft and I love the pop of color- I got these and these. She also has cute totes and cosmetic cases, which are great for yourself or for gifts! Aside from being of great quality, Monica’s pieces have a great price point too.

TWO // Chic Earrings. This line of fun earrings by We Dream in Color make a statement. Choose from stars, birds, butterflies, moons or flowers…all the designs are elegant, stylish yet playful. Complete your outfit with a pair! Loving these, these and these.

THREE// Paravel Weekend Bag. I love all bag designs by Paravel. They are beautifully constructed and have the best material combinations making them super chic. Play around with the monogram option colors to make your bag truly unique. They are perfect for roadtrips and getaways to travel in style. I love this, this and this design (it folds to a small rectangle so it is great to bring on trips in case you need extra space for all your souvenirs!).

FOUR// Greek Cookbook. We all came back from our trip to Greece adoring Greek food so much. It’s light and healthy and totally delicious. I was inspired to learn more about Greek cooking and so invested in this beautiful cookbook. I made a divine meal I was very proud of and hopefully I can add some of these dishes to our list of weekly regulars.

FIVE // Selling on The Real Real. A few of my favorite people shared their experience selling some of their vintage items on The Real Real and so I was curious. I looked through my closet to see what had not been worn in a while and gathered quite a few handbags and shoes. I recruited my mom as well to try the experiment. The process was fun and easy. I made an appointment online, a very sweet lady came to my home to examine, record and take all the pieces. It was effortless really. In a few weeks everything was on the site and a few months later I was getting checks for everything. I’m so glad to have given a second life to all those little treasures that were just wasting away in my closet. I’m totally obsessed. The process also gave me some insight as to the things I want to buy next (they should be only classics they are the ones that withhold their value best) and how to keep everything in great shape.

Wishing you all a fabulous week. Happy Back to School!
