Spring in our Bedroom
Spring is around the corner and I could not be happier (corona virus aside). I look forward to the longer days, blooming flowers and trees, birds chirping, and I won’t lie - having some rosé in our patio as well. Taking advantage that Spring is near and that it’s #NationalSleepDay I refreshed our bedroom a little by organizing our night tables, adding fresh flowers and the best part, new sheets! These pretty french blue scalloped sheets from Crane and Canopy add the perfect delicate touch to our bed.
I adore everything about our bedroom. It is easily my favorite room in the house. The headboard shape and Quadrille Arbre de Matisse fabric paired with my pretty sheets and delicate coverlet create the best respite. It’s funny that I chose this fabric 15 years ago without knowing much about it and it is so wildly popular today. We spend about 30% of our lives in bed, we better make it the chicest and most comfortable place possible.
What I love about these sheets from Crane and Canopy is the shape of the scallop. It is not your traditional rounded shape but a more complex edge. The french blue is also perfection, but they have other colors that are equally as appealing (check out this lavender one). Sometimes it is all about the little things and new sheets in the spring is exactly that. Let me show you-
Here is a detail of the pretty edge.
Also, these crane and canopy pjs are so soft and comfortable #BestNightsSleep. And they are perfect for traveling as they don’t wrinkle and they are elegant enough to hang out if you are staying with friends. At 11 am (CST) today we will be hosting a giveaway for three sets of PJs. Check my instagram for details.
Oh, and by the way, as you can see the books in my night table- next in line are Olivia Kitteridge and Where the Crawdads Sing. Have you read either of them? I bought them for my Spring Break trip which I am in the process of canceling, sadly, so I will be reading them from home. The Bahamas is not going anywhere right?
I just love the blue trim in the sheets. The sheets are feminine and match my coverlet perfectly. It doesn’t take much to add some freshness into your room.
